However, it's important to note that manufacturing at scale in California can be challenging.
Nevertheless, as a small company, we have the advantage of prioritizing attention and care for each order. Believe me, there's no shortage of skilled makers and upholsterers here, ensuring that we continue to support local employment and maintain our commitment to quality craftsmanship.

How can I place an order with MadeRight?

Placing an order is a breeze. Just head over to our website and explore our incredible selection of sofas and furniture pieces. Personalize your choice by selecting the fabric, size, and any other cool features you desire. It's all about making it custom and yours.

How long does it take to receive my order?

At MadeRight, we believe in the importance of creating each piece to perfection. However, we also understand the frustration that can come with waiting for your purchase to be made and delivered. That's why we strive to work efficiently, with most custom-made sofas having an estimated manufacturing time of just 10-14 days. That's pretty fast, right? After that, the delivery time typically ranges from 7-21 days, depending on your location. We know waiting can be tough, but we assure you that the wait will be well worth it when you finally lay eyes on the final result.

Can I make changes or cancel my order?

Once your order is placed, it is sent directly to our production team and materials are set aside for manufacturing. Due to the efficient nature of our process, making changes or cancellations can pose challenges. However, we understand that mistakes can happen, and we're here to assist you. If you need to make changes or cancel your order, please give us a call at 415.690.2255 right away, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We strongly encourage you to carefully review your choices before finalizing your order to ensure that you're completely satisfied with your selections.

What if my furniture arrives damaged or defective?

No need to worry! If your furniture arrives damaged or defective, it's important to make a note on the delivery paperwork. This helps us in the process of recovering some of the cost. Please let us know about the issue within 48 hours of delivery. We are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction, and we will swiftly resolve the issue. Our team will either provide a meticulous repair to perfection or arrange for a possible replacement. Satisfaction is our top priority, and we're here to make things right.

Can you tell me about your return + exchange policy?

At MadeRight, your satisfaction is our top priority. We're committed to ensuring that every custom-made piece we create is a perfect fit for your home and lifestyle. However, we understand that sometimes, things might not align as expected, and for that reason, we offer a generous return and exchange policy. Your comfort and happiness are our ultimate goals.

If you decide you’d like to RETURN your order within 14 days of delivery:

  • We’ll give you a full refund of the amount paid for your order, less the original paid shipping fee.
  • We’ll arrange and cover the pick up and return shipping.  

RETURNS initiated within 180 days of delivery:

  • Following the 14 Day Delivery period, Returns initiated day 15 up to day 180 from delivery will be refunded the full amount paid, less a 10% return processing fee and the original paid shipping fee.
  • We’ll arrange and cover the pick up and return shipping.  

MadeRight reserves the right to approve returns based on the condition of the piece(s). You will be asked to provide images of your order’s current condition prior to the arrangement of your return or exchange. Any alterations made to the furniture will automatically void the eligibility for return or exchange of your piece. 

If you decide you’d like to EXCHANGE your order within 14 days of delivery:

  • We'll give you a credit for the full amount paid (shipping fee not included) to be used towards placing a new order. 
  • We’ll arrange and cover the pick up and return shipping for your exchange. 

EXCHANGES initiated within 180 days of delivery:

  • Following the 14 Day Delivery period, exchanges initiated day 15 up to day 180 from delivery will be credited the full amount paid, less a 10% return processing fee and the original paid shipping fee to be used towards placing a new order.
  • We’ll arrange and cover the pick up and return shipping for your exchange. 

Limitations and Specifics:

Our return policy allows for a single return or exchange per household, encompassing all items from one order.

We allow a window of 10 business days to complete your return and provide the necessary details and photos once a return or exchange has been initiated with our team.

Items shipped to Alaska and Hawaii are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

Be aware that all exchanges are subject to the current list price, with potential additional shipping fees.

Once an exchange order is placed, it becomes non-cancellable and non-returnable.

MadeRight reserves the right to approve returns based on the condition of the piece(s). Any alterations made to the furniture or damage sustained post delivery will automatically void the eligibility for return or exchange of your piece.

Can you tell me about your warranty?

At MadeRight, we have confidence in the quality and durability of our products. That's why we offer a lifetime warranty on our frames and a 2-year warranty on the fabric, foam, and legs of our sofas from the date of purchase. We're committed to standing behind our furniture and ensuring your complete satisfaction. However, we understand that unexpected issues can arise, and as fellow customers ourselves, we empathize with the need for assistance. If any issues occur, simply reach out to us, and we'll do our best (within reason) to address and resolve them. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we're here to make things right.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship within the United States. We hope to expand our shipping options in the
future, reaching customers beyond the states and sharing our furniture goodness with a broader audience.

Can I see your furniture in person?

If you're in the Bay Area, there's a good chance you can! We're in the process of setting up an
indoor/outdoor pop-up shop at our office in Richmond, California. While we may not have the exact piece you're looking for, we'll have a selection of our furniture on display. It's an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the coastal vibes and experience the quality of our furniture firsthand. To ensure we can provide you with the attention you deserve, please schedule an appointment in advance. We look forward to showing you around and helping you find the perfect piece for your space.

How about a Zoom or Google Meet?

Absolutely! We've been offering virtual showroom walkthroughs even before the days of COVID. Our founder, Edgar, is well-versed in conducting video calls via platforms such as Skype, FaceTime, and Zoom. We can set up a virtual meeting with you, whether it's during the day or at night. Feel free to grab a glass of wine and invite your partner to join in on the virtual experience. We strive to make it a fun and informative session. Edgar himself often participates in these virtual meetings, so there's a good chance you'll get to meet him and benefit from his expertise. Just let us know your preferred platform, and we'll schedule a time that works for you. We're excited to connect with you and provide the assistance you need.
